Tour for Kids Alberta: The 3 Day Ride

Enjoy 3 glorious days in the Rockies. The standard daily distance is 100km with options to tack on a few extra kms of incredible scenery. There’s plenty of fun out of the saddle as well as we come together to raise essential funding for Kids Cancer Care.  Arrive at RockPointe ChurchFriday morning for a light breakfast then board a bus for the start of your adventure.  Saturdaynight we stay on site at Camp Kindle and experience the joy camp brings to the children affected by childhood cancer.  Sunday return to RockPointe church

On the road, Tour for Kids route marshals will help you arrive safely at the rest stops and will ensure everyone follows the rules of the road. Qualified medics are on-route to help if needed, mechanics help with flats and any emergency mechanical support your bike might need. Tour marshals provide route support and encourage you every step of the way. Rest stops not only have the best food on a cycling event, but they entertain and offer words of encouragement and delight!

I have been riding the Tour for Kids Alberta for the last 3 years and will be riding again this year.
I enjoy riding among the Rockies but must of all the experience of staying at Camp Kindle.
T4Kids provide a very nice, friendly experience to the riders. The food is second to none and most importantly all the money raised goes to the Kids.

2015 will be my 4th year riding this amazing event. The route, support and people are always wonderful. There is always a good mix of rider levels from competent novices to serious hammerheads - you just chose the group that matches your distance and pace. Best of all the money raised goes to a cause that's hard to beat - supporting children with cancer. Riders return year after year and for them this event is the cycling highlight of their year.

I have done many cycling events over the years, and none are better than this one.
-100% of fundraising goes to the intended recipient.
-You stay at the Camp (the recipient) and see exactly where the dollars raised are spent.
-Ride has a maximum of 150 riders and you get treated so well over the weekend. The staff really go above and beyond.

This will be my 9th year cycling in this amazing event! Great routes, amazing support, familiar faces and an incredible cause. If you are looking for an event where you will be known by name, feel safe the entire route and have a great place to sleep, this is it! One of the best organized events I have participated in!

I did the Alberta Tour for Kids in 2014. It's an amazing ride - completely supported, great food, great people.
With 100% of everything raised going to the cause, how could you NOT want to participate?!

Every year I ride with this amazing group of riders. The treatment you receive is the best. Great routes, wonderful volunteers, food is over the top.

The support you receive, emotionally, physically and mechanically, you can't ask for more.

I look forward every year to coming back.

A fantastic group of people, all riding for a great cause. You can feel the emotion in the group. The food and support is fantastic, as well. Lots of miles, for the roadies, and options for the "not so roadies"!
