Ran the 5K this year. Course was relatively flat in beautiful downtown Burlington. The weather condition was ideal. The field was quite competitive for a race of this size. The race staff was friendly. I came to the race alone and they watched my bag for me during my race. Overall a nice race for speed testing before the fall racing season.

Honestly feel that this was a fantastic race. I did the 5km and loved the course. I live in a big city so I welcomed the transition from the city streets to some of the nicer subdivisions. Residents in these areas were cheery and supportive. Great volunteers and organization. Strong police presence kept us safe from cars. LOVED my medals (I got one for finishing, and another for being in the top 3 of my age division)and PLENTY to eat and drink pre- and post-race. THANK YOU!

Ran this race 2012 and 2013 love that its in the middle of the week but way tooooooo hot...last year was soo hot I dont know how I managed to finish the race but I did and still placed in the top 3 in my age group. I have already signed up for this year and looking for first place in age group (already have 2nd and 3rd)

In 2012 I made the mistake of running the 10K (double loop boredom) so 2013 I ran the 5K. Still a boring course but I still like a mid week race. Shirt was ugly and the post race food was non existent. They could do a lot better!

The event was organized well - from race kit pick-up to post race food everything was on par. Tons of pizza, iced cream, water, etc. to enjoy, which was a nice touch. The scenery wasn't the greatest, but I guess that's all you can expect from a downtown race; it would've been nice if there was more running along the waterfront. A nice surprise were all the people on their lawns spraying runners with their hoses - it helped a lot considered how hot it was. Would've been nice if it was later on in the day or on a weekend in the morning.

i have run this race 3 times and every time come away disappointed.food is hit n miss depending on when you finish and you really get tired of the woman on the loud speaker(race director) as she does at all the vr pro races, she constantly is babbling...very annoying to say the least.and as they also do at all their races...UGLY WHITE SHIRTS....have they ever heard of coloured shirts or are they too cheap????

Always nice to have a mid-week race and downtown Burlington is a nice area, nothing too exciting though. There were plenty of police officers managing the traffic for us which is always greatly appreciated. The 10K is a double loop, not a fan of a double loops and if that was actually posted on their website (it wasn't), I would have done the 5K. Volunteers cheering "you are almost there" right before the first loop (obviously talking to the 5K's) isn't much appreciated when the 10K's need to do it all over again. Big disappointment is when I finished the 10K, there was NO post race food, we were only given a bottle of water. That totally turned me off this race.

Good event in downtown Burlington. Nice to have a race midweek. Not to exciting a course - but what do you expect from a downtown race. Great food post race and great atmosphere before, during and after the event.
As usual with the VRPro events - well organized.
