Storm the Trent

This was my first (and second a couple years later) adventure race. Literally the two most fun races I have ever completed. The first time was in a pair, where we battled some pretty bizarre weather and had a blast. The second time was with a team of 4 where we had a lot of fun pushing each other. Such a great race. Would recommend to anyone looking for a unique experience!

This was my first adventure race and what a race it was! Unfortunately the weather was brutal - hail, sleet, rain, wind, freezing rain and a little sun. The race became a little disorganized as they decided to cancel the paddle section and extend the bike. Some people were able to paddle and others weren't. There were not many staff around to direct those coming into the park to find out the news. As well, by the end of the race many of the event staff were no where to be found. As people were coming in, the event staff had already packed up.

I believe that this is a well organized event and that this year was just bad luck! I will definitely be doing this race again.
