Such a great atmosphere at this race. You can't help but smile when you're surrounded by thousands of santas! The weather was great, course was flat and fast and there was pizza and chocolate at the finish line. This race exceeded my expectations and I'm excited to run it again next year

A Very Merry Event! Well organized and easy run to fit in to the Christmas Season! Running with the Santas is definately a great way to get into the Spirit of Christmas! The pre race excitement and the post race Pizza , protein drinks and Ferrero Roche chocolate certainly added to the great value! But we even got to Take home our Santa suits! Well done!!! Great day and great run!

A nice one loop courses with some minor false flat inclines in the middle. Great crowd finish at the end with family & friends cheering us in. I would do again. Just be prepared to run in a Santa Suit!

What a great race!!!This is one of my favourite races and we look forward to it every year! It is a quick and easy 5k and can be enjoyed by everyone from families to elite runners. Can’t wait for next year.

This is my third time running this race and will run it again as it's kind of now a Christmas tradition with me. This is a well organized event from start to finish and a good atmosphere. The volunteers are great and love the yogurt and pizza at the end of the race. Will be there in 2014. Nothing like the sight of 2000+ Santas running along the Lakeshore.

My first Santa run and it was fun I will be back next year as I now own a Santa outfit. I would however suggest they have a start shoot for walkers and runners and even estimated time start points in the run shoot. Some lady fell on the first turn with the crowd sorting it self out a shoot my help avoid falls. Hope she is ok. Also I would pay a few more $ to have a souvenir medal to take home

It's a really fun race to do with friends. Don't expect a PR :-) as the Santa suit weighs you down a little. Great to remember how to smile while running once in a while! And racing in a beard helps to do that.

It was a great race. We had a full family there (3 generations and some friends) and they all enjoyed it despite the rain

I did this race yesterday and although it was raining it did not dampen the enthusiasm of my fellow Santas. This race has a great atmosphere, and brings families and friends together in the spirit of Christmas. I really like the spirit of the race because the emphasis is on FUN. This is a race for everyone, from young to old. My family looks forward to this run every year and it has become part of our Christmas traditions. It is the most fun event I do all year.

I have run this race in previous years, but I was very disappointed by the 2012 race. At the kit pick up- the volunteers were not well informed or organized.
The race advertised beautiful "Santa metals" to people that did two Santa races (Burlington VT, Burlington Ont, or Hamilton Ont). The 'metal' was a thin wooden Santa head with red sparkles glued to it. I was not impressed. It isn't a keepsake at all.
At the actual race, it was a bit chaotic. It took nearly 10 minutes for everyone to get out of the starting chute. Corals would have helped- as would have asking walkers to stay to the back. There were many dogs and strollers, which added to the chaos. It was very difficult to run, and I saw several people trip and fall.
Race etiquette was not enforced or even discussed- walkers were all over the road, and it was very hard to run through them. No one stayed to the right, and many people wandered as they walked.
At the end of the race, no one knew what was going on. There were no signs, or volunteers to ask where the food was, and where the ceremony was. The food was a tiny piece of pizza- the smallest I have ever seen. No fruit or extra water was available.
I was not happy with this race at all. I doubt I will be back.

This is one of the best races. So many people, you won't be able to do your PB, but who cares. Would be nice to encourage walkers and kiddie strollers to keep to one side and leave your dogs at home people.
Trust me, your dog doesn't want to be there.
VR Pro has always run well organized races!

love running in a santa suit! course is well laid out and volunteers help guide you through the streets! the option of a breakfast wrap versus long line-ups to get in for a sit-down breakfast was a hit......it was too cold to wait in line so we grabbed our breakfast and ran! Again, the Zoom photos were great too! everyone was in such a great mood! ho ho ho!

Wow, what a party! Oh, and there was a 5km run too....maybe a little better signage and organization afterwards (food)....unique experience to say the least.

Fun run for everyone. Quick 5k around Burlington's Downtown and residential areas. The streets become fooded with Santa Clauses. Tip for future runners: bring your own belt. Mine broke about 20 meters into the run, and the suit must stay on!
