My first 10,000 metre race in 27 years. Wonderfully organized, great course, and a chance for our daughter to visit her old school. Surpised that the field wasn't larger for such a well-run event.
The only issue, which the organizers promised to remedy for 2013, was that the age-group awards weren't separated by gender.
We'll be back; in fact, I'm training on the course this weekend, picking my spots to drop the other old men by hobbling faster.

Well-organized event in a lovely small town just north of Burlington. The 5K run was along rolling country roads with great scenery. I thoroughly enjoyed my run. There were lots of volunteers with coffee beforehand and great food afterwards (the BBQ was awesome!). They even had massage tables set up. Another big surprise was the technical t-shirt in the race-kit - I was not expecting that! I will come back again and have already recommended it to my running buddies.

This race was so well organized.
Great scenic course with lots of variety of terrain.
You feel in Muskoka 45mn from Toronto
Proceed goes to a great cause.
We’ll do this again next year for sure.

I just did the 5km here. What a beautiful little community run. Very well organized from the moment you arrive, tonnes of local volunteers, well marked course with 2 water stations on the 5km. Maybe teach the volunteers to pass the cups better (there is actually a manual on this believe it or not)! Post race food was amazing...all-beef hot dogs, three types of fruit, cookies, starbucks coffee before and after, coconut water (no one drinks this btw), bottled water, pop, juice. Age category prizes too (I won one myself....charities take note, you can raise money AND take care of the real runners too). Just don't come looking for a PB, it's a rolling, scenic course on the drive in from the highway we had to stop for two deer (so you get the idea...it's in the country)!

I loved the drive up through Burlington and into the small town of Kilbridge, amazing scenario, really laid back and was greeted with Starbucks coffee and really easy and quick registration (i had pre registered) and pick up bib etc. The run was gentle, easy, some shaded, some sunny. Great cause, great location, really great food after the race and homey atmosphere. I'll be back for sure. Thank you!!!
Five bananas for sure!
