I have done this race twice and volunteered twice. It has a great vibe and there is tons of encouragement for the women - both experienced and beginners. A must-do for all women!
I had a great time at this event. I'm new to triathlon and was excited to share my first experience in a more low key type setting. It made me more comfortable knowing I was racing with all women as well. The course is great, the staff are amazing and the clinics they provide are also very informative. I will absolutely do this event again!
Did the super sprint, enjoyed the overall race. It was quite hilly but low traffic. Wish they had a tranisition time, instead of including it in the bike. Great giveaways!
Great for a first race! The hills made it very tough, but overall it was a really enjoyable experience.
Awesome first triathlon. Very supportive crowd, volunteers and organizers.
I registeted at the last minute, so I don't know what communication was like before the event, but on the 6 days before, I definitely got all the important info.
I was very excited to do this race. However I found out very early how unorganized it was, volunteers and race directors that did not seem to know what was going on, and the course was not clearly marked. Also when emailing the race director a question I had to send more than one email and wait a few weeks for a response. However the goodlife fitness bag we got was great and vendor giveaways were also a nice surprise.
Fantastic event! Well organized and fun. The route is great - very little traffic and challenging. The kids loved the fun run!
Such a wonderful event! Great routes with minimal traffic, awesome prizes, and good organization. This is a perfect race for new triathletes as the crowd and fellow racers are extremely supportive of everyone. I would love to do this race again!

Awesome race, well-organized, fun for the whole family. Next year I am registering my kids in the kids race.
If you love hills, this is the event for you! Doing 3 laps of the 2.5K course was a little disheartening and...dull...but at least we knew we were never far from the finish line! :-) Volunteers and police on point duty were amazing and I made sure to shout out a thank you as I passed. The only improvement that I could see really helping out would be distance markers. I don't have a fancy watch so I never knew where I was for pacing myself.
