:Poor support before race as donation software was not tracking donations correctly.
:Did not mail out VIP parking pass - so had to pay for parking
:Slow riders did not keep the right, poor etiquette and dangerous as no rider education
:poorly marked routes
:terrible food - dry and tasteless :(
:Inappropriate screamo music in VIP lunch lounge

The weather was awesome, well organized, and a chance to ride among 14,000 cyclists of all stripes on the DVP and Gardiner. Can't beat that. Cycled to Exhibition Place which was a lot easier than driving. Would definitely do this again next year.

I did this charity ride for the first time in many years, on a corporate team so it was first class all the way. I think I ate more between the free breakfast before our 50k and the lunch afterwards than I spent on calories riding!

Overall, very well executed, top notch volunteers....I did not get a medal afterwards but that was no big deal, plenty of food and water for my friend I met who was with the general public. A little bit of a mess with parking next year I will park across the street in Liberty Village as I saw alot of riders doing this (smart).

Great (but wet!) event!
Just wish the slower riders would stay in the slow lanes and inexperienced riders would not stop in the middle of the road!

This is our 3rd year in a row doing this ride. very well organised and a great experience. Our group is keeping increasing in size year after year. IN 2011, we were only 11. In 2012 we were 33 participants. THis year 2013, our group consisted of 66 participants.

Will do it again next year

First time doing this event or any cycling event. Was super fun to be cycling on the highway that is usually full of traffic! Nice to see the buildings up close and take it all in. Route was very easy to navigate (25k). Some hot heads racing by in left lane was a little distracting but par for the course. Lots of families and children which was nice to see. Finish line was pretty jammed (had to walk over instead of bike) but tricky with so many bikes! Good vibes overall. Preferred the outdoor finish area to the 'VIP' area which was a little less lively. Would definitely do it again.

Amazing race & organisation ass well . What a pleasure to ride on the highway and enjoy the vue of Toronto without cars , bus and so on . Despite the weather a little bit sad I really enjoy this event ! (Mainly with my specific bike btw...)
Food and beverage on the finish line were both EXELENT . Safe bike parks to appreciate a lot your lunch :)
Hope to be there next time !

This is the one time of the year when I am not upset that the highway is closed. What a great time! The energy every where is awesome, and the day ended up being a blast.

This was my first year cycling this event and it was a fantastic experience, I cycled the 75km and we started quite early which was fabulous, things however became quite congested once we were cycling amongst the 25km group too, especially at the Bayview cross over, with a hazardous mix of competitive cyclists and young children out for a fun family ride navigating the same route. The finish was also very congested and slow moving. Overall it was a memorable event and I would definitely recommend. Looking forward to next years event.

First time doing the Ride for Heart, and it was so exciting to get to zip around on the highways!
I started at 6am, as I wanted to do 100km (extra loop at the top) on my triathlon bike. The first loop was in the company of speedy roadies. The second loop had some more slower riders, but they stayed to the side. By the time I went out onto the third loop from Bayview (around 8am), it was heavily congested with families across all lanes of traffic. I can't really complain about that, as for most it's a fun family event, not a race!
But there was a *dangerous* jam at the York Mills aid station (8:30am?), with hundreds of riders blocking the ramp and crossing the road without looking. I mentioned in the ride survey that they should have marshals keeping a clear corridor for safety.
Overall a fantastic event in the city, and I just encourage fast riders to go out even before 6am (the start is very liberal, not strict at all) to avoid dangerous clog-ups.

Awesome riding along the DVP - especially coming into Toronto onto the Gardiner thought the high rises and CN Tower - really amazing feeling. The food and party atmosphere was also great. Thanks for a fun morning in T.O.

Outstanding race and experience. This was first time riding this event. It was a lot of fun riding along the bottom on the city along the Gardiner and then up and down the DVP. The race was very well organized. I very much appreciated the staggered start and the opportunity to start early and separately with the Corporate teams. Parking was easy and there were lots of volunteers to guide the participants. My only caution is that there is major congestion at the turn around at York Mills and you must ride defensively as many people move across the road without checking for oncoming riders. Otherwise it was all good. Great job by the ride coordinator and great appreciation to all the volunteers. I will be doing this again and bringing more friends and family with me.

What a fantastic event! From start to finish....all the bases were covered. on the course, marshalls, well marked...maybe too many volunteers. Lol. Anyone who is a fast, experienced rider..start before 7 am for best experience as the slow(er), hybrid, mtn bikers are in full force from 7:30 onwards

Great event. I really enjoyed the atmosphere at the finish. Very unique to be able to ride the DVP without any traffic! A perennial favourite.
