Highland Yard Race

I wanted a race to test my early season fitness and this was the one! The course was rolled to perfection and he kms were all clearly marked. The race has a great small town feel but had some seriously fast runners. Well organized and the race director and staff paid a lot of attention to every detail. Race started on time and results were posted quickly both on site and online!

Warmup and cool down was perfect as the race is surrounded by water. The refreshments and awards were top notch. Highly recommend his race!

This was a great event many years ago when Heineken Sponsored it (Beer is always good), super draw prizes and age group awards (I was 2nd overall once). AND the run started @ the camp in the middle of the forest and ran into town...but I hear now it's all changed and not for the better.
