Great. I would go again. This have a very big marathon feel. Well organized. Porta potties in the corral. The maps were clear about where to go to get into your corral. Great expo -- maybe things are bigger in the US. Tones of parking if you are early though you have to walk a bit (which is a good warm up). Great urban run. Hills may be challenging, but you have to suck it up and take them as they come.

This event was more organized than a Penguins hockey game! What a super event, my first time at a big scale running event, usually I stick to the cheaper local events (I am a cheap runner). I had a tough time at first paying so much ($85) for an entry fee but now I see why it was worth every penny. I might spend less on hockey tickets now but more on big city races...sorry Sidney. Go Pens anyway!

A Great city! Where else would you want to run? The birthplace of Fred Rogers, Andy Warhol and the zombie? A beautiful city that is worth the drive from Ottawa. Very friendly people.
I liked the course of the marathon, the fans (who were spraying runners with water hoses), the support and the crowd support. Rivals Philly. I thought more aid stations would have helped though ( one every mile ). The shirt is short of just there.

I ran this race in 2010 and despite my horrible performance (and some pouring rain), really enjoyed my entire race weekend experience. I was quite curious about Pittsburgh, reading about it being one of those "livable" cities, and I was thoroughly impressed. Overall, the race course snaked it's way through nice neighbourhoods (with a few minor exceptions), and the bridges were fun to traverse.

The race was pretty well organized, with my only complaint being the crowded finish area, but maybe they've fixed that since the 2010 race. Give it a shot - close to Toronto, and a positive experience.

I went to this race way back before it changed ownership, It seems like it's a much better organized run so I would consider attending again.

I ran the marathon this year and the half in 2010. This marathon is well run with a lot of focus on the athletes.

It offers you a great experience
