Dave Emilio and his team put on a truly great event. Super neighbourhood. Amazing volunteers. Professionally organized. Festive atmosphere. No wonder it was sold out. What a fantastic time.
An incredibly fun way to finish off a year of racing. Well organized and staffed by friendly volunteers.
This was my first year running this race. Top organization, great course, well-run bag check. I will definitely be doing it again!
Great race, great volunteers. A must do in December.
Great race - well organized
Awesome. Well done BRC.
This was my second year running this race - it seemed even more popular this year! The hat was a nice change from the tee shirts you usually get. A good selection of post-race foods (bananas, bakery scones, pitas, energy bars, drinks, etc. Not enough washrooms, as usual, and street parking close to the start was hard to find. I would recommend getting there early, especially if you are picking up your packet that day.
Nice flat fast course
Check point at 5k
This was my first year participating in the Tannenbaum 10K and I will definitely be doing it again next year! I was not as well trained as I wanted to be but it was so motivating seeing all the runners coming back from the turnaround point and high-fiving along the way. The route marshals were phenomenal, had me laughing and really motivated me to keep going! Swag bags were top notch, especially for a smaller/lower budget race. Overall great atmosphere and great time :)
Great course and friendly volunteers, had a blast!
I had never heard/run this race, despite living 5 mins from the start. Ran it for the first time this year. Great vibe, awesome swag, competitive field, great route. Highly recommend, and will be back next year!
Good race, fun atmosphere. Well-organized from start to finish and very nice race kit (included a warm hat instead of a t-shirt, which was appreciated). Liked the option of being able to pick up the race kit at The Black Toe Running store, made it very convenient.
One thing I would improve is the number of available bathrooms at the start. Women's bathroom only had 2 stalls for over 30 ladies 10 minutes before the start. Only 3 or 4 portable bathrooms were available for everyone. Given that close to 1,000 people were running, more bathrooms would have helped.
Everyone started at the same time, which I didn't mind too much, but would have liked several waves based on predicted finish time (I know some people might disagree). The path is quite narrow, so it was difficult to pass people when the entire crowd started going.
I had a great time overall and will be back next year.
Great race, well organized, well attended and well managed. And no tee shirt - yeah...
Loved this race! Great course and the volunteers were some of the best I've experienced. I will recommend and run next year.
Extremely well organised, great event!
Was my first 10k and will certainly not be my last.
Really fun and well organized race on a flat and fast course (provided the weather cooperates). Great prizes/swag, great people and a very supportive crowd! Loved it and will be back next year.
Great Race to attend, lots of competition and everyone has a smile in their face, love the pace elfs and their encouragement. Great race to take part of.
Excellent race with an excellent community of runners. Volunteers were extremely nice and would race again.
It was my first time running this race (and any 10km in my life) - really really fun, and a flat course that's good for PRs. Great pacer elves and spirit!
What an excellent race! Most accurate distanced race I've run this year! 10.02k on my GPS! Wow right on!
That was so much fun! Great volunteers cheering everyone along. Pace elves for many finish times including 47 minutes, 52 minutes, walk-run. Loved the Olympian who ran, it was fun to keep up with her for, like, 10 seconds LOL.
Snacks from the fancy places at the end of the race and the medal was nice quality. Lots of washrooms and great, free gear check. No problem parking for free and lots of brunch spots after. I'll run next year for sure. Very nicely done.
Great race! Very well organized and a lot of community spirit.
Fabulous race. Such fun energy, terrific swag and great post race celebration. Lots of prizes for all. The volunteers are super. I can't wait for the 2015 edition of this race!
Alex from Scarborough
Great event. I was surprised to see all the volunteers and spectators out to support the runners on a cool morning in Dec. even Sanata showed up. Very nice scenically route with lots of great treats and swag. Loved the sling bag. Definitely will be back and plan to bring my friends.
My first time running this race, I'd heard great things about it before. I was so impressed with the professionalization of the event while remaining runner friendly and fun. For all runners. As a mid-packer I felt right at home but it appeared everyone was walking around happy happy. Looking forward to next year (or sooner - are there other Beaches Runners races?)
PS, nice to get something other than a t shirt, and great loot bag, post race food was awesome.
But - It's completely surprising to me that the name on the medal was wrong after everything else was so spot on.
I had a great experience for my first race! The event was organized and timely, and I love the toques for the winter time! The route was enjoyable as well. I would definitely recommend to friends of mine, and am planning to return next year for sure.
SO much support from fellow racers and volunteers. Great atmosphere :)
This was my first time running this race. The volunteers were great and very encouraging. The morning race kit pick up went smoothly - no line ups at all. The bag was great, plus several magazines, information on upcoming runs, shoe laces, and some snacks. Parking was a bit difficult to find, and we ended up a few blocks away, but that wasn't a problem. The race was flat, fast and scenic, and despite a cold morning, the run was a lot of fun! There was a fire going where you could warm up pre and post race. After the race, you could have as much food as you liked - there was tea, cookies, pitas, baked scones, and bananas. The medals was very nice, also. A nice touch for next year would have been some Christmas music, perhaps?
great race, great area, best swag bag, fabulous draw prizes, very well organized
Well organized race. great food and goodie bag. Festive run.
Fun race! Event staff was very helpful and friendly!
I can see why this race sells out so quickly!
The race kit was fabulous and included a sturdy sling bag instead of the usual tech shirt.
Parking was ample and free along Queen Street (a mere 500 metres from the start line), there was an indoor waiting area and indoor bathrooms, the bag check was also indoors, the course was flat and fast, there were many pacers, and stars like Olympian Krista DuChene and Canadian Masters Predrag Mladenovic participated. The medal is a decent size and a nice design. The volunteers were wonderful and there were many, many random draw prizes. The after-race food included chocolate milk, coffee, David's Tea, bananas, cookies, Pita Break rounds, and iced scones from Cob's bakery.
The event felt professionally managed and results were available almost immediately.
Well done! I will definitely sign up again next year.
My first race and I would say it was a great race overall, very well organized. Course was really flat and fast. Race kits were awesome. Most races give out shirts, but this one gave away a toque. Easy and Free parking, available shelter and bathrooms, good course marking, volunteers, route and Cobb’s bakery. I was glad to run it and may do it again next year.
Very much enjoyed this race. Easy to pick up the race kit, easy to find the start line, and terrific free parking in the area. The race was an out and back, and the path was well marked, with many volunteers along the route. Gorgeous medal, and super cute hats. Stuck around for the medal awards (despite the fact that it was freezing with the rain) and the award presentation was fun as well. Good nourishment after the race.
Fantastic race! Reasonable registration fee, nice swag, nice course, and a great festive community spirit. Also: best post-race snack EVER! I will be back next year for sure.
It was a very fun run. Nice, flat, fast course. We had some perfect weather for running and a great crowd to run with. I think the only thing I would change is to make the water station at the end really obvious. My brain shut off and I had a little trouble finding it. I liked the baked goods at the snack table a lot. I loved getting a hat (and I nice one at that) instead of another t-shirt.
great late year run. Wonderfully run, in festive location. A must attend run!
Ran this for the first time this year. It was a great race - small and yet not too small. The course is nice and flat. I cannot wait until the construction is all done - although it didn't impede the running, it kinda ruins the scenery! Maybe next year.
The race kit is good - lots of paper to recycle though. And the hat is awesome.
My first time running it - definitely going back in 2014.
This was a comfortable cozy sized event. It was large enough to have chip-timing, medals, and tons of handouts and prizes. It was also small enough and convenient enough to not get lost in the crowds or have to park and walk for miles to get to the start line :)
Great venue running along the waterfront too!
This is my second time doing this event. Last year was pretty good - But this year was much better. The atmosphere was really positive (as was last year) and it was better organized and measured. Last year, my watch showed 9.90 km. As did many on the garmin site. This year, It was 10.01 km - Garmin site confirms accurate measurement. Bag Drop-off and pick-up was quick and easy, Hat was nicer. It is a fun, flat, course that gave me an accurate time. Photo's are nicer this year and can see the time you finished. Would definitely recommend and am looking forward to the race again next year.
Great race! The weather was warm, runners were happy and the volunteers were on the ball! No problems whatsoever- friendly faces and fun race kit. Will definitely be running this again!
I'm admittedly new-ish to these road races, but the Tannenbaum 10k was really well organized! Came from out of town to run this with a friend, really enjoyed the course and overall atmosphere. Very friendly crowd, too. Would run it again, without doubt!
Great fun run with an awesome vibe from staff to participants. Very welcoming.
A fun race with a community feel and competitive field. Group warm-up was a nice touch. Flat, fast course along the Beach. Helpful and friendly volunteers. Fun and inclusive award ceremony. I thoroughly enjoyed the morning and was pleased to support Centre 55. I plan on making this race an annual tradition. Thanks to all the organizers for a great event.
A smaller race, which is really nice, and still really competitive! Enthusiastic volunteers were SUPER. PB on the fast and flat course.
Thanks to Cobb's for after-race treats.
Toque is cute!
Would agree with another commenter that parking in the Beaches for the RR is really tough - maybe extended hours for race kit pickup or a location with parking?
Will definitely be back!
It was a fabulous Run. For me it was first but most memorable one.Love the spirit of the people.the course was meticulously drawn. free of congestion & safe for the runners. Post race award ceremony & goody give-away need special mention.
My sincere Thanks goes to Duff Maclarem, Dave & Anita Emilio & all the volunteers. A Sunday Morning well spent for the less fortunates.
Great experience for my first 10k race. Very well organized. The course is very flat, good for consistent pace.
A great way to finish your racing season - this is a flat and fun race that attracts a lot of Toronto's fast runners to push you to a PR if that's your thing (and while I'll never mix it up with the AG winners, I set a non-Yonge Street 10k PR this year), and is welcoming and supportive to all levels. Awesome race kit with three magazines, two bars, lip balm, tuque, flip flops and more. The organizers keep the race small enough at 700 runners that it doesn't overwhelm the infrastructure (but look, if you need to pee 10 minutes before any race, you'll be in a lineup). Great sponsors in David's Tea, Zico and Cobbs Bread for post-race fuel, and lots of other great sponsors for post-race draw prizes.
Weather's been good for this race the last couple of years. Any event this far into the "shoulder season" takes its chances with the possibility of a blizzard, or icy patches on the course, but that's part of the fun. Doesn't stop people from entering Chilly Half or Around the Bay, and shouldn't stop you from entering this one.
Race directors are communicative and helpful and care about what they're doing. Volunteers have great attitude and almost all experienced runners themselves, so they "get it".
I was out of town till late the night before Tannenbaum this year and I still got up early to run it. Last year, I ran it on a chest cold and had a blast. Thanks for another great race!
My first year running this event and had a great experience. Well organized and clear directions. Bag check was easy to navigate and volunteers were friendly and helpful. Course was flat with a bit of ice (welcome to winter running in Toronto) but the organizers did well to make sure that runners were notified and they used salt in an attempt to make sure that the route was as clear as possible.
Great race, well organized. We got lucky this year as the weather was on our side, so I managed to get a PB as the course is flat and fast.
Well organized race. Great volunteers and terrific location. Lots of great draw prizes too. Baggage chck was a breeze. No waiting.
Another great year for the Tannenbaum 10K. The volunteers and organizers are enthusiastic, motivating and hard-working. The course is flat and fairly fast, usually among my fastest events. The race kit is generous and kit pickup convenient. Overall, just a fun local event where you can really push it if you are inclined!
This was my first 10k event and I couldn't have asked for a better experience as an introduction to the running community.
Extremely well organized, great atmosphere and I can't wait until next year!
Thank you to the race directors and volunteers for putting on such a great event!
I'd give 6 bananas out of 5 if it would let me :)
Great event! Friendly volunteers, nice course, well organized, nice medal, kits, and post race refreshments! A must do 10K for anyone, will be back next year.
Great race overall, very organized. Course was really flat and fast. Race kits were awesome: running magazines, really nice toque, flip flops...and the draw prizes were good too! Atmosphere was great.
This was my first time at the 10K Tannenbaum.
I truly had a fantastic time. As a forever beacher, it's so great to see how many runs we are able to have in our community. The volunteers were top-notch. All of the proceeds go to such a great cause - that help many families right in our community!! I can't wait for next year - it had now become a December Tradition...5 Bananas, Banana Split and Banana breat!!!
Loved it! It was well organized, I enjoyed the pre-race group warm-up, and having Cobbs and David's Tea after made it perfect! I love that it supports Centre 55, especially this close to Christmas!
See you next year.
Well organized, great route, fun atmosphere in a great neighbourhood. It was my first time running this one and I'd definitely do it again.
New 10K Guy
Great event - loved choice of availability of times for kit pick-up - (but lack of parking meant I couldn't shop/socialize with RR staff)
Great MC job at the award ceremonies - and the volunteers were amazing and so positive even in the dreary weather!
Well Done all around!
This was an awesome race! The course was nice and the volunteers were amazing. I definitely recommend this to all runners. I enjoyed the huge support the crowd gave me as I was running. The post race food was awesome and overall I had a blast. Also got a new Personal best! :)
this was my first 10k! I was pretty slow but the volunteers were super encouraging and nice, I will be back again next year!!
What a lovely event! Smallscale enough to have a real community feeling about it, but with a surprisingly competitive field, it goes fast. Stick around for the awards ceremony, which is fun & hilarious. Will definitely do it again next year.
First time attending this race and it was a great experience overall. Good value for the cost. Good to see some new names such as David Tea, Cico, Cob Bread post race goodies. Friendly volunteers and organizers were also a plus!
Great event. Lots of fun. Fast course. Can't wait to run it again.
Great Route! Fun Race! Glad it didn't snow. A little ice on the trail but could be avoided. A nice, flat, running course! Volunteers happy and were wonderful cheering for us along the route! My first time running this race. I ran it with my younger, faster, sister. She was a tremendous help keeping me at a good pace and I ran faster with her help. Thanks, Shar.
I had so much fun at this race! Very friendly, well organized, beautiful route.
Awesome race. Well organized, friendly and fun. Lots of fast competitors too.
Great little local race. The weather was a drag, but the course, volunteers and organizers did a great job making the most of it. Very competitive field for such a small race.
I also have a detailed race report: http://paulradcliffe.ca/?p=1052
Great race! Well organized and wonderful volunteers along the route. Love the free photos!
This is my 3rd time running Tannanbaum. It gets better and better. The photos are great this year (and still free!) I liked the caps last year and LOVE the toques this year. the price is right, but I'd pay more if it meant more food after. The volunteers are always superb, this year, no exception. I like the water at the turnaround. I didn't like the puddle at 4k but hey, I am a wimp. Speaking of wimp, at this time of year I'd like to see the start at 10am as we tend to move a little slower in the dark mornings. All in all though, still one of my favorite races around, especially for December. keep it it Beaches Runners Club!
Great atmosphere despite the wet weather. Good organization and route.
Coming off an injury plagued Summer and Fall, this was my last chance to get a decent race in. I thought it was going to be lamo cuz I never heard of it and it was only 40 bones. People at Commerce Court Running Room were talking about it so I signed up.
Well I was surprised at how professional it turned out to be, marshals everywhere, fast runners. So surprised.
And nice toque. No more junk added to my shirt drawer! I feel bad I didn't bring a food donation. Next year I will promise ... :)
This was my first race. There was some confusion around my bib. I was given the wrong one. In future it would be good to tell the participants to check the back of the bib to make sure his or her name is on it. I will say that the race officials were quick to rectify the issue and all is good. I really enjoyed the race and the encouragement from the staff along the trail. The photography of the finishers was first class and the fact that I have free access to and use of photo is great.
I will definitely return next year, a little wiser.
Excellent race and a PB. Sounds like the course was a bit short, but for the BRC to be just taking over the race it was run wonderfully. I am confident it will get bigger and better each year. Love the hat, but for some reason I think I lost it.. guess I will have to run it again next year.
I do not recommend this race to a newer runner. I was in under the required time (course time limit of 90 minutes) but toward the back. Race staff were often condescending as I slowly made my way around the course. The guy taking finish line photos just packed up and left after 74 minutes. Apparently they don't consider people after that point to be worth their time.
I've done five races now (three 5Ks and two 10Ks) and this is the first one I've ever experienced where I would not do it again.
Other than the weather, this was a great event! Flat and fast course with great volunteers who were out there in the cold wet weather cheering on the runners. The toque was a nice change, instead of the usual shirt, and very timely. Only suggestion is to start it a little later at 10am (give us a little more sleep).
Wow, a local 10k that expands every year. The runners keep getting faster and new course records. Volunteers, great, bag check and prizes/
Great toque, a unique treat. Despite weather ,will have to do this again.
My garmin measured 10k right on, (maybe I didn't run tangents?)
This was my first 10k and I loved it. Great group of people running, well organized and the location running along the lakefront was awesome. Will definitley do it again next year.
@ Leanna and A,
Our course was measured at 10 km several times. Unfortunately, it appears there are discrepancies for reasons yet unknown and as Race Director, I apologize for that. We are looking into why this happened and we plan to get the course certified for next year. this will ensure that we will be the best we can be.
We have a lot more additions and improvements coming your way too. It's going to be better than ever!
Thank you all for your feedback. Check back here, or on our site for the random winner of free entry for next year's event taken from all of these reviews.
Also, photos are posted on the race website.
My first 10k ever. Except for the bad weather, everything went smoothly.
Looking forward to next year to see if I improve!
My first year of Tannenbaum, all the things went smoothly, thanks to organizers and volunteers.
Entry fee is reasonable and great course. I'd like to see more of community base running event.(like Tannenbaum).
I'll be more than happy to recommend this race to any runners or joggers.
See you next year !!!!
I ran the Tannenbaum 10km race in 2011 and it was an amazing experience. Gorgeous 7 degree celcius weather (although it did drizzle half-way through the race); wonderful volunteers; a very reasonable entry fee for a chip-timed course (including dry-fit cap); smooth bag check; a flat out & back course; post-race water, bananas, & yummy bakery goods; finishing medals; and immediate chip-timed results all conspired to create to a great holiday event which left a lasting impression, given this was my first road race.
This year I very much looked forward to coming back to this little gem of a race. Oncle again, there was a reasonable entry fee, including a great running toque! The well updated race website and much appreciated email reminders promised that this year's race would play host to an exciting field of runners, lured perhaps by the promise of additional prizes for breaking the male/female course records. We were in for a treat!
At the start, baggage check was smooth as ever and frequent announcements relayed all instructions perfectly to newcomers and returning racers. I spotted some of the city's speedier racers (including some of my favourite bloggers) getting ready to toe the line. The rain thankfully abated just as we all took off and the winds were not nearly as strong as had been predicted. Just as last year, the volunteers/marshals at the start and along the course were smiling, enthusiastic and encouraging! Finishing medals were handed out by happy volunteers to around 500 finishers. Results were posted immediately as friends gathered to swap race stories while enjoying their post race snacks (this year including 2 different coconut waters, bottled water and delicious sticky buns). The standing course records were smashed and the level of competition was raised markedly from last year's race.
Everything about this year's race was perfect except for ONE thing: This year's course was measured short, according to GPS data provided by my Garmin (9.86km as opposed to 10.1km last year). The run data made public on Garmin Connect (where you can search for, and explore the data from other users) also shows that every other runner with a Garmin GPS watch ran a route that was less than 10km. I'm well aware that GPS watches can be tempermental and are hardly infallible, however, as an east-end resident and not just a fairweather runner, I have run this section of the MGT and Tommy Thompson park numerous times and in various conditions. My personal run data, the data of other Garmin Connect users and Google satellite mapping post-run all point to a short course compared to last year. If this course had been measured long, people would have already complained loudly about the imprecision. I don't see how measuring a short course is any different. All of us, from hobby joggers to blisteringly fast racers come to an event like this to test our capabilities and hopefully achieve our PR's on a fair, accurately measured course. I'd truly love to give this year's race 5 bananas AND 5 coconut waters, but an inacurate course is unacceptable.
Fun race along the lake. Flat, fast course.
I like that the proceeds go to a local charity and that they run a food drive as well on the day of the race. This, however, needs to be better organized since there were no specific spot to drop of the canned goods, nor was it very much advertised.
This has to be one of the winter races to take part in. Great chance to do a fast 10km.
Great support and well organised.
I'll be back!
This was my first time running the Tannenbaum 10K and it was fantastic. It was well-organized, the course was well-marked and the volunteers were wearing big smiles in spite of the rain. The registration fee is more than reasonable and the cause is worthwhile, and this has become my go-to winter race.
Good course, well marked, flat and fast. Volunteers were good and the race went off without a hitch. A relatively small-scale race which made it feel "cosy" rather than "crazy". Really cheap race entry, but the race didn't feel like they'd cut corners. Parking, washrooms etc were no problem. The weather was crumby this year, but I still ran a PB which was the icing on the cake. Would definitely run again next year.
Well run event, baggage check a breeze, good competition, only problem (and a big one) was the short course. I ran the event last year and compared the satellite images of the turnaround to the turnaround this year. The turnaround last year in TT park occured 60 meters earlier. My Garmin measured the course last year at 10.03km, this year at 9.88km. Following the course route with Google pedometer, last years course was 10.02km and this year was 9.90km. I also reviewed this years Garmin data from 11 users on Garmin connect. The distances recorded ranged from 9.87km to 9.91km. Taking all this data into consideration it is safe to say the course was short by a minimum of 100 meters or 30 seconds for a 50 minute finisher
Nice race, not too busy which is nice. I just didn't find the course great. To run 5km out and return isn't particularly exciting. I would probably do it again though.
Flat and friendly. A great feeling of camaraderie that you just can't get at the big races. Even this year's rainy didn't dampen our spirits.
What a great race. I have run many, from 5k to Marathons, both in Canada and the U.S. That gives me a great base for comparison, and I completely loved this race. It was a nice size with lots of energy but in way intimate too. It is completely affordable yet chip-timed with a medal and some swag. The course was quite nice - scenic, flat and fast. This was a goal race for a 10k clinic I was instructing and all participants had great times; many goals met and some exceeded. I was so happy for them and very proud too. Congrats to the organizers for this wonderful December race.
The Tannenbaum was my first 10km 4 years ago, and I've been coming back every year since. The course has changed a bit each year, and I think this year it was the fastest route ever.
I love the small community feel of the race, and that they don't charge higher prices to give us T-shirts -- I love the cap from last year, and the toque this year -- I'm hoping they stick with this and never switch to shirts, there are many other types of use race gear they could cover that are less expensive but more useful in winter (e.g. gloves, arm warmers).
I also love that you never know what weather to expect -- there are some years of clear skies and crisp cold weather, and others with high winds and rain or snow. And their are amazing volunteers who stand outside to cheer us on regardless of the weather!
Great job organizers, I'll be coming back again next year!
Entrance fee was well worth the experience. No excuse for beginner like me not to participate. Local race but smooth sailing from the time of registration to the end of the race. Bib, timing chips, medal, even water station for a short race. Love the coconut water and treat. Not so local afterall. Thanks to all the volunteers!
I really enjoy running this race. Flat, fast & well organized. People are kind and friendly. This is my second year and my second PB in the 10K.
Looking forward to next year.
This is the first time I ran this race and enjoyed it a lot. Being an East End-er, the Waterfront Trail and the Leslie Spit are my favorite routes, fast and flat. The hat and the medal are nice. The free race photo is a welcome bonus. Thank you Beaches Runners!
There's nothing bad to say about this race. Well organized and a great course. Even the VERY wet weather didn't create too much standing water.
This was my first 10K and I'll be back next year for sure.
Awesome race! Nice flat course, perfect time of year.
Excellent race. Flat route with lots of marshels. Also nice to get a touque instead of another shirt. Would have given it a 5 if there was some more snacks after. ie, bananas and pasta
fun, small race - great community feeling.
Thanks so much to all the organizers. A great race, flat and fun and well marked, and super volunteers who did their jobs in the rain with a great attitude. I'm so glad I made it out to this one!
My first time marshaling at this event.
Its a nice size, not too big, not too small.
The organizers, fellow volunteers and participants are first rate.
If you're looking for a PB, this could be the race - flat and fast.
A huge thank you to the beaches runners club. A great race to run with friends. I'll see you in 2013. Thanks for the medal!
Just ran my first Tannenbaum and had soon much fun. Also took a friend to run his first race (and he killed it). I'm angry at myself for not having run it before. Thanks to all the volunteers and the Beaches Running Club for putting this on.
I ran this race in 2011 and enjoyed it so much that I'm running again in 2012. Great atmosphere for us runners who are no threat for an age group prize.
Great price for a race in Toronto. A flat and fast course that can be used to take advantage of your fall race fitness on the way to a 10k pr.
A fun group of runners and a very supportive group of spectators for a small community race.
This will be on my race calendar for a long time.
This is great race, flat and fast. It's a really good way of determining year over year improvement.
This will be my third year:
2010: 60 min
2011: 51 mins
I ran this race last year with family. It was my first race and I loved it. Looking forward to running it this year.
I have been a volunteer and was race MC last year. It is a wonderful race along our stunning boardwalk and out to the Leslie Spit.
We are supporting the Community Centre 55 Share a Christmas program so proceeds go to a great cause. The Toronto Beaches Runners Club are proud to be presenting this year and would love to have you run with us!
I have never run this race as I have always been a volunteer. The race has a great community feel. Great people running, helping and cheering. I liked it so much. I took it over and now and co-race-director!
This is one of the MUST run winter races in T.O.
I have run it numerous times, each time with it's own unique weather challenges!
Lots of fun and familiar faces!
