David Houghton has been a cyclist since he could first straddle a bike. He has twice finished first in the prestigious Ontario Cup series, and has also won medals at the Alpha Giant 5, Uxbridge Icebreaker, BikeNXS Season Final, Dirty Enduro, Claremont Crooked Crank and Gary Fisher Enduro. He has two second-place finishes at the 24 Hours of Adrenalin and was a silver medallist in the 2004 Subaru Duathlon Series.
