DetailsThe Runners Foot Clinic is a medical clinic staffed by Foot Specialists [known as Chiropodists]. Our main focus is on keeping our runners on the go! Most of our staff are runners and have completed multiple 1/2 and Full Marathons. We commonly treat Sports Related Running Injuries such as "Plantar Fasciitis", "Shin Splints", "Patellofemoral Syndrome", "Chondromalacia Patella" as well as, "I.T. Band Syndrome", "Heel Spurs", "Flat Feet", "Ingrown Toenails", "Warts", "Athlete's Foot [Fungus]", "Black Toenails", "Corns", "Callouses" and Blisters. Many Biomechanical Problems can be resolved through the use of Custom-made Foot Orthotics. Orthotics are Thermoplastic devices which are placed in your shoes. Their purpose is to support your Arch and to stabilize your Foot. The most effective method of assuring that an Orthotic will fit your Foot properly and achieve the relief that you are seeking is by having your Foot casted using "Plaster of Paris" while your Arch is in its Neutral or upright position. To achieve the ultimate Neutral position, your Feet must be casted while you lying face down on an exam table. If you are experiencing any problems with your Feet or pains in your Back, Hips, Knees or Ankles, you should consider having a Biomechanical Assessment. We give special attention to our Runners!
