Hey everyone,I ran a new PB this morning! 1:25:29 which is 1min 22sec faster than I ran the Toronto 1/2 marathon last year. I am happy with that even though I was originally aiming for sub - 1:25. A PB is a PB!! Note: Melanie and April Boultbee run with the Longboat Road Runners in Toronto.

First off, there's always something wrong when your roommate is walking into the house to go to sleep just as you're waking up to go race.... yes, 5:00am wakeup call is not fun....
Note: Mario Iozzo works at New Balance (High Park) and coaches at York University - he decided to swith and train this year with Hugh Cameron, one of Canada's highest-regarded distance coaches.

Note: Peter Donato has lived through 11 years of running in Toronto, and made his personal marathon debut in the last-ever Shopper's Drug Mart Toronto Marathon, 1995, a sparkling 3:01 race won in a world-class time of 2:11 by Toronto's own Peter Fonseca.

Hi MDRC members - Greetings from Germany. Well, the World Dragon Boat Championships, held in Grunau (site of the 1936 Olympics), are over and I am enjoying a much needed period of relaxation and drinking German beer!Note: Nancy Hamilton runs with the Marathon Dynamics Running Club in Toronto.

One of the major stories at last year's Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon, was the "Horatio Alger-like tale" of Danny Kassap's victory. Can he continue his Cinderella story in 2005....
