March 15, 2006 - World Triathlon Corporation, owners and organizers of the Ford Ironman World Championship announces its support of the Daniel Robert Sayre Memorial Foundation. Through the partnership, Ironman will make a donation of more than $50,000 for the purchase of rescue and emergency equipment for the Hawaii County Fire Department.

Adidas, the German sporting goods company that recently acquired US rival Reebok, plans to reposition Reebok as a performance brand, said Herbert Hainer, Adidas's chief executive.
