International San Diego company's planned 'rock 'n' roll' running event will drain money from city, locals say....

International March 15, 2006 - World Triathlon Corporation, owners and organizers of the Ford Ironman World Championship announces its support of the Daniel Robert Sayre Memorial Foundation. Through the partnership, Ironman will make a donation of more than $50,000 for the purchase of rescue and emergency equipment for the Hawaii County Fire Department.

International Adidas, the German sporting goods company that recently acquired US rival Reebok, plans to reposition Reebok as a performance brand, said Herbert Hainer, Adidas's chief executive.

While Adidas is known for engineering athletic shoes – last year it launched Adidas I, a $250 high-tech wonder dubbed "the world's first intelligent shoe" – Reebok has emphasised casual footwear.

International Desert R.A.T.S September 2005


The Desert R.A.T.S is the only race of its kind in continental North America. A 148 mile 6 day stage race along the Kokopelli Trail that starts outside of Fruita, Colorado and ends in Moab, Utah. For anyone considering what one of the international multi-day races are like, R.A.T.S provides the perfect challenge in our backyard making it very affordable.
