BRAINERD, Minn. -- Kandi Hanson has a history of run-ins with deer. She totaled her first car and damaged two others in collisions with deer. This weekend, the deer struck back.

There's this sport called the triathlon. There's this event called the Ironman.Contrary to popular belief, they are not synonymous. "Many people who are not triathletes think that Ironman is triathlon," says Dr. Steven Jonas, a Stony Brook University professor and author of "Triathloning for Ordinary Mortals" (Norton, 2006). "But triathlons come in a wide variety of lengths, from real short to real long."

 Norwegian cyclist Kurt Asle Arvesen claims he'll celebrate the 20th of May for the rest of his life. That's when he won not only a stage in the gruelling cycling race Giro d'Italia for the first time, in 2003, but also for the second, on Sunday. Note:
