How can I navigate to a specific date?

There are a number of ways to do this; use whichever you prefer. Don't be afraid to click and experiment.

Click the "<<" or ">>" links on either side of the Month to move one month at a time

Next to the Jump button, there are several pull-down menus; use them to select your desired date, and then click the Jump button.

Switch to the Year view (by clicking on Year in the "Day | Week | Month | Year | Search" navigation block above the calendar; then from the year view click on the month or day you want.

I am seeing a popup asking for my login and password, but I have already logged in. How do i get rid of this?

I filled out the required information for a race in June. Then I clicked the Add button. Is this the correct procedure to submit the race details? I didn't see the race in the calendar.

Hello,
I am a racewalker and enter half marathons and shorter events as a walker. Some events do not have a walkers' category. Is it possible for you to provide a filter for 'walking' as an event category? Or do I have to select 'running'? Thanks.

thanks for the question Anne, we want to keep a limit on the number of categories, and we're re-doing the site soon so we may be able to expand (trail running, mtn. biking, etc.) the filters then, with better software.

if there is a start / finish line, and a clock, we consider it a "race", so your question is valid, have you asked this question of the Wow Walking Club (Toronto)? Maybe they have a list of events that allow race walkers?

why does the TORONTO/GTA calendar link return a blank page?

We unfortunately had a site crash on MyNextRace.com back in mid-October and are working on the issue as we speak. We were able to get most of the site back up and running although some files were lost in the move to the new server. We are hoping that by Monday, November 27th we should have this up and running. The Toronto / GTA calendar hasn't been working for over a week. ('Page can not be displayed...') The other calendars seem to be working.

When I enter a date for the event (June 20th 2008) and go to preview it the date comes up as August 21st, 1970. How can I get this corrected?

hey, that's an internal glitch, we can't seem to fix it...it will not affect how your event is posted.

Answer How can I filter the calendar to view only certain types of events? I'm only interested in Running (or Triathlons, or Cycling, or......) Use the filter "pull down" menus just above the top-left of the calendar. You will notice there are three "pull down" menus next to a button labelled "Filter". By default, the middle "pull down" menu is shoing "All Categories". To view only one particular category (e.g. Running or Cycling or Trade Show, etc.) click the down arrow in the category pull down and you can choose one of the categories. Then click the "Filter" button. Similarly, the other pull down menus next to the "Filter" button can be used to slice-and-dice the calendar entries any way you please. Back to top I want to view details for a calendar entry. How? Hold your mouse motionless ("hover") over a calendar entry, a pop-up box appear with a bit more detail. Need more? Just click on any scheduled item in the calendar. This will take you to the details for that race or event, including description, website, contact info, etc. Back to top What do the different colours mean in the calendar event entries?
