Running: Run for the Toad Sells Out!

Ontario's premierrunning destination is now BOOKED SOLID!

George and Peggy Sarson announced this week that the 5th anniversary of their wildly popular trail running event has now reached its' capacity of 725 runners, in what is believed to be the fastest known sell-out of any race in the province, a full 7 weeks ahead of race day, September 30th.

From simple beginnings in 2002, the Toad Run has generated buzz and interest like no other race in the community of trail runners, specifically, and long-distance enthusiasts in particular. The vision and goal of George and Peggy has been pretty clear, to provide a world-class running experience for runners of all abilities, and walkers can now join too. Runners are now coming from all over Canada, the U.S., Mexico and beyond, Pinehurst Conservation or bust!

Unique experiences unlike anything you will find at races, such as a tented day care for children, with a flat-screen t.v. and live entertainment. Fresh coffee, donuts and popcorn all morning, a pre-race celebration and march, singing of anthems....Tent City, where everyone on site, including volunteers, spectators and athletes, can enjoy a how, sit down meal.

Race Directors from far and wide have now become regular mainstays among the participants, as they enjoy an experience worthy of kings and queens.
