BOSTON TEA PARTY – 5TH ANNUAL BRUNCH - TEAM CANADA!!

The Boston Weekend Main event…………

On Sunday, April 16th, 2006, join over 600 Canadian runners and their family members for the 5th anniversary of this get-together. Started with humble beginnings in 2002, the brunch has now become a fond memory for Canadian runners new to Boston.

Due to the increased demand, the location has been moved to Tia’s on the Waterfront, one of Boston’s finest indoor / outdoor dining establishments, located at 200 Atlantic Avenue. Lori Lilly, owner of Tia’s, is excited about hosting the event for the first time. “As a runner, I am thrilled to be able to be part of the Boston Marathon Weekend, and even more thrilled as I am running the marathon myself this year”.

The Canadian Consulate in Boston is also jacked-up, headed by Stan Keyes, former MP from Hamilton. “In 1996, our office supported a gathering of Canadians to commemorate the 100th running, and this year will mark 10 years since that special celebration”.

The Consulate will be one of the many sponsors supporting the brunch this year, including Ashworth Awards, Cliff Bar, Cadbury’s Chocolates, the Cleveland and Toronto Waterfront Marathons, Marathon Dynamics Coaching and www.mynextrace.com.

Join the crowd for three sittings, 8:00 am, 9:30 and 11:00. Tickets can be purchased at the door, arrive early as space is limited!
